Budapest, Hungary. Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyad Vára) is situated in the City Park (Városliget). It was originally built from cardboard and wood to celebrate the 1000 years of Hungary, but because it became very popular, they rebuilt it from bricks and stone. It contains copies of parts of important buildings from the Kingdom of Hungary, especially the Hunyadi Castle in Transylvania. These parts were built in different architectural styles, such as Baroque, Renaissance, Gothic and Romanesque.
