Symphony Splash

What a beautiful evening it was for this event, thousands of people gathered at the Inner Harbour to listen to the music, the weather was hot and the sunset was magic. More photos can be seen on the "Events" page.

It is one of the largest annual symphony events in North America, and attracts up to 40,000 Victoria residents and visitors from all over the world. Audience members gather on the lawns across from the provincial legislature or from their kayaks and canoes to watch as the Victoria Symphony performs from a floating barge moored off shore. There was also a couple of featured guests as well, including 17-year-old violist Danielle Tsao, and as in years past, the performance was capped off with an incredible fireworks display set to the bombast of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture.”
